Supervised Escape

I'm a girl, a daughter, a friend, a skeptic, a believer, a dreamer, and whoever else you'd like me to be. I aspire to leave my handprint on you and on the world one day. Join me in my travels through my very own mind as i try to figure out where my interior truths meet my exterior lies.

So heavy, you can’t move.

Entirely blank, so you don’t know how to move, or what to do once you finally budge.

So alone, in a place full of lonely people.

You scream, but nobody hears.

Tears drip over your lashes and gather at your chin.

Drip, drop.. one by one they fall.

Piece by piece you die.

They call it a cry for attention, because they can’t actually hear you.

What’s that you’re screaming?

You’re alone, you’re afraid, you’re insane.

NO, hush, now it’s all going to be okay.

They’re screaming now, all at once, all in a different key.

You’re silence won’t be heard.

You’re language will never be understood.

So scream, and cry and churn in your pain.

You’re alone in it and so are they.
